The group's South African operation
Established in Pretoria in 2019, Mashlo Investments delivers GIS consultancy, authorised HEAD Aerospace earth-observation products and drilling services across Southern Africa.

Our goal is to enable organisations to make better use of geographic information within their business operations to aid decision making, increase efficiency and improve the management of their assets.
Geographic information is now embedded in many business processes, whether locations of customers, assets, incidents, work orders, vehicle routes or delivery areas. We enable our customers to collect, manage, visualise and analyse this geographical data and ensure that its value is fully exploited.
Earth observation
HEAD Aerospace authorised reseller
Mashlo is an authorised reseller of HEAD Aerospace Group products. HEAD commercialises data collected by a series of 30+ on-orbit Chinese earth-observation satellites, with ground sampling distance ranging from 0.5 m to 30 m.
The offering includes sub-metre optical data with a daily global revisit, optical imagery (panchromatic, multispectral and hyperspectral) and C-band radar up to 1 m resolution.

Water borehole drilling
A full range of tooling, from drag bits to high-impact, high-penetration down-the-hole air hammers, applied with extensive field experience of South Africa's water context.
Odex drilling, 219 mm
A down-the-hole air hammer system designed to advance casing during drilling, using quality equipment to reach the required eccentric bit.
Cleaning and re-establishment
Cleaning and re-establishment of existing boreholes, including dedicated attention to problematic holes.
Reverse circulation drilling
Reverse circulation drilling for sampling programmes, using the fleet’s trucks and drilling equipment to support reliable mineral-deposit information.
Exploration drilling
Support for mineral drilling programmes, including assessing material quality and working consistently through the project.
